Willow Avenue Pottery

It has been a fun time finding out how many of the businesses here got their start…Willow Avenue Pottery is no exception.  In 2009 Rebecca Brandow started her ‘part-time’ business.  As with most people that do what they love, her love of pottery has grown into a full time business. That alone isn’t so unusual, but being self taught and being so successful is! Her happiness shows in her work!

Willow Avenue Pottery is nestled in a domed house on a ‘homestead’ in Panora.

The studio is not only her workspace, it’s a place to teach, give demonstrations and tours. (and of course to sell some of her wares)  ”Get dirty, make pots!” Sounds like something spoken by a true potter. Becky creates a variety of pots, mugs, plates, bowls…the usual things, but there are some things that were quite unique.

Cups and mugs and bowls in all shapes and sizes, vases, decanters and many items that are ‘just Becky’!

Buttons, shawl pins and necklaces…lots of things that just make you feel happy.  Take a tour of all the pretty things, or better yet plan to go visit. :)
