Eagles Landing Winery, like many of Iowa’s businesses, is a small family owned venture. Roger & Connie Halvorson started their vineyard in 1999 and began business in 2000. They work hard everyday to make a wine you truly enjoy and want to share with your friends.
Son Jay is the Winemaker and his wife Cindy handles Sales and Marketing. They currently have 3 acres of vineyard located in Fayette County near the Volga Lake State Park.
I have had the opportunity to try some of their wines…you can understand why they are award winners. If you get to the Marquette area…they have wine tasting from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm daily. Stop in and say ‘Hi’ and relax in the wine garden!
