Betty Jane Candies has been producing kettle fresh, hand made chocolates and candies since 1938 and all of this time it has always been family owned and operated (they are now 3rd generation). All are made by hand using antique equipment. Note: When you have had it right that long…why change it.
Betty Jane’s is famous for ‘Gremlins‘ and like another famous potato chip…you can’t eat just one! They also are well known in Northeast Iowa for some very special Easter Eggs they create. Many area children look forward to that special treat from the Easter Bunny each year. Make sure to check out all the different seasonal items they offer all year long. I think there is a special holiday right around the corner 
In the summertime there is award winning ice cream! That could be a summer evening drive! Betty Jane Candies has won the award for “best candy” as well as “best ice cream” both in Dubuque and Cedar Rapids on numerous occasions. Look at the pretty new entrance remodel…Wow! There are two locations in Dubuque, Asbury Road and Kennedy Mall and one in Cedar Rapids at Lindale Mall. Betty Jane Candies can also be shipped all over the country, so you can send friends and family sweet treats!
